Level 1 – Mondays from 4:30 to 6 pm |
In this introductory level, your junior will learn about golf etiquette, course safety, short game, and full swing; using US Kids Junior Golf & PGA Sports Academy curriculum. Familiarization with the golf course and facility are also explored in a fun and non-intimidating way during this 4 class course.
Character Traits learned: Integrity, Sportsmanship, and Respect.
Level 2 – Tuesdays from 4:30 to 6 pm |
Level 2 is designed for juniors that consistently score 50-59 for nine holes and/or have completed Level 1 to their instructors satisfaction. Juniors continue developing their full swing, short game and putting, while learning benefits of golf psychology during this 4 class course.
Character Traits learned: Courage and Leadership.
PGA Junior League
PGA Junior League brings a “Little League” style atmosphere to the game of golf. With teams of boys and girls, aged 17 and under, PGA Junior League provides a structured league environment for young golfers to compete and have fun! Each team will consist of 10-12 players in a similar age and skill range. The program features a team vs. team format in a structured league providing a popular, less stressful, scramble format.

#1) World of Golf has a long history of promoting and being leaders in junior golf. We have twice been named the PGA Jr Leaders in the State of Kentucky. World of Golf was also named the PGA Jr League facility of the Year for our district in 2015.
#2) The number of available practices (35) and matches (no less than 8) provides a season full of golf for your player or student.
#3) World of Golf is the perfect place to play, practice & learn golf. The 18-hole executive golf course allows us to get the kids on a golf course that provides them with just the right amount of challenge. Our driving range and short game areas permits us to provide instruction on all phases of the game. Our indoor facility keeps us from having practice dates rained out.
#4) The staff at World of Golf is trained in all areas of junior golf. They are trained in how to provide instruction, how to ensure the kids are having fun, they each have passed background and drug testing and most of all they care about the kids who go thru any of your programs.
#5) Each participant in the World of Golf PGA Jr. League will receive a personalized swing video. This swing video will be recorded at World of Golf, and feature a voice over from a coach regarding their swing.

2-Week Summer Junior Golf Program
At World of Golf’s 2020 Summer Junior Golf Leagues your child will be instructed in the lessons of the game, which include golf etiquette, course safety, short game and the full swing, using US Kids Junior Golf and PGA Sports Academy curriculum. Each class will have 30 minutes of instruction and then will play 9 holes of golf . A staff instructor will provide on course instruction.
In addition, each Junior Golf Program participant will receive a Landrum Golf Management Privilege Card. This Privilege Card will allow your child to play golf at World of Golf for a discounted fee of $7.50. The LGM Privilege Card is valid through 2020. Each class limited to 12 participants.

Junior Champions Golf Program
Students will receive a two 45 minute personal golf lessons with PGA Master Professional Ralph Landrum each month.
Each student will also receive a privilege card which will enable them to play or hit golf balls or use the indoor range at World of Golf for only $7.50!
Program curriculum will include:
- Each junior golfer will have their swing recorded using the V1 coaching system.
- Each student will have their swing numbers recorded (club head speed, spin rate, etc.) using our TrackMan Launch Monitor.
- Each junior golfer will have their putting stroke recorded using our Sam Putt Lab.
- Team meeting with parents, junior golfer and Ralph Landrum laying out goals and plans to attain those goals.
- Two 45 minute private golf lessons each month with Ralph Landrum.
- Each participant will receive a World of Golf privilege card which will enable them to play golf or hit golf balls at World of Golf for only per visit.
- A club and putter fitting session with Ralph Landrum

World of Golf will be hosting the Junior Champion Golf program. The year-round program is designed for the young golfer who is not only looking for help with their golf swing but also looking for instruction in the area of:
- Putting
- Short Game
- Course Management
- Tournament Scheduling
- Physical Training
The course will be taught by former PGA Tour Member Ralph Landrum. Ralph is PGA Master Professional, ranked as a Top 50 Junior Golf Instructors by U.S. Kids Golf and a KY Golf Hall of Fame member.
Mr. Landrum has designed this program to be a mentoring opportunity for those junior golfers who wish to excel. Instruction will combine twice a month private lesson and when weather permits the lessons will be on the golf course.
Youth On Course

Golf teaches important social, mental and physical skills and each round is filled with learning potential. Providing youth with access to affordable golf is at the core of what we do at World of Golf. Youth on Course members play golf at hundreds of participating courses for or less—including World of Golf for only $3.00.
PGA Junior Golf Camps

We have camps for all age groups and abilities, and our best-in-class PGA instruction ensures your child learns from the best.
Camp Highlights:
- Action-packed mornings include 3 hours of hands-on instruction lead by certified PGA Professionals.
- Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
- A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child’s well being in mind.
- Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)
Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at an intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!

- Golf Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate
Full Day Camps provide an opportunity for junior golfers to continue to improve their skills as well as develop better course management expertise. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their ability level and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. Following lunch, campers head to the course for supervised play emphasizing course management, shot selection and rules.

LPGA Girls Golf Program

The focus of this program is to get young ladies out to play on the golf course as much as possible!
Research consistently shows that girls reap the biggest rewards when learning in all-girl environments, which helps them feel more comfortable and gives them a space where they are free to be themselves.
World of Golf’s LPGA Girls Golf Program makes learning the game fun, social, and less-intimidating for girls who are just starting out, or want to play with other girls who share their interest in the game.

Master Professional and Director of Instruction Ralph Landrum is one of only two PGA Master Professionals in the State of Kentucky, and the only one to be certified in Instruction. A former PGA Tour member, Ralph won the national PGA Player Development Award in 2014, and was named a Top 50 Golf Instructor by U.S. Kids Golf and Golf Range Magazine in 2013 & 2014. A member of the Kentucky Golf Hall of Fame, Ralph is also certified by Titleist Performance Institute, Trackman (Launch Monitors), U.S. Kids Golf, the Positive Coaching Alliance and Science & Motion as a SAM PuttLab Instructor. All of the instructors at World of Golf use the V1 Video Coaching System and SAM PuttLab.
