Master Professional and Director of Instruction Ralph Landrum is one of only two PGA Master Professionals in the State of Kentucky, and the only one to be certified in Instruction. A former PGA Tour member, Ralph won the national PGA Player Development Award in 2014, and was named a Top 50 Golf Instructor by U.S. Kids Golf and Golf Range Magazine in 2013 & 2014. A member of the Kentucky Golf Hall of Fame, Ralph is also certified by Titleist Performance Institute, Trackman (Launch Monitors), U.S. Kids Golf, the Positive Coaching Alliance and Science & Motion as a SAM PuttLab Instructor. All of the instructors at World of Golf use the V1 Video Coaching System and SAM PuttLab.

Cost

• One Hour Lesson: $100
• If you purchase a 5 lesson package; not only will this cut your cost down to $400.00 (a savings of $100.00!)
• Junior Lessons:
• The ultimate lesson package is two one hour lessons per month for twelve months for only $1,000.

Welcome2Golf

Cost: $??/per person

Welcome2Golf is a series of 4-90minute beginner, group lessons, that will see you playing on the course by the final one. Absolutely no prior experience, or even equipment (we have some for you to borrow) is required!

Every participant in the program will receive the same first class instruction that we offer to our private lessons, as well as our privilege card. Our privilege card will get you discounted rates on the driving range, golf course, and play with a pro days to continue your golf education. 

Dress must be “socially acceptable” for all

1. Acceptable items: appropriately fitting t-shirts or tank tops, polos/golf blouses, collared shirts, appropriate length shorts, jeans, golf pants, or skirts
2. Unacceptable items: shirtless, low cut tops, see through shirts, etc. 

Currently we are on a pause for group classes. In the meantime, check out our monthly lesson package we are offering. 4-30 minute lessons for $80.00. This package will only be offered until we deem it safe to return to group lessons. 

Ladies Instructional Golf League

Cost: $99/per person

Studies show that, across the board, ladies learn better when they’re surrounded by other ladies. With less intimidation from their male counterparts they feel freer to try new things—even if they do not succeed on the first try. With this in mind, we have created our Ladies Instructional League. This four-week program will feature a 30-minute group lesson focusing on one of the fundamental aspects of golf, followed by nine holes of play on the course. While on the course, you can expect to see our coaches along the way, providing instruction and ensuring safety and proper course etiquette.

Suggested age: Ladies ages 16 and older who want to learn or get back into the game of golf. Great mother/daughter activity!

Women’s Nine & Wine

World of Golf hosts Women’s Social Golf Mixers on select Saturday mornings throughout the season. Join us for this meet and green social with an 8:00 am shotgun start. The format is 9-Hole two women team scramble. Players may sign up in pairs or individually to be paired by the World of Golf staff. Prizes will be awarded at lunch after each event.

V1 Academy Locker

Our indoor range features a video swing analysis software program known as V1, which not only allows you to record your swing and re-watch it, but also offers our coaches the opportunity to overlay angles and compare your swing to that of the Tour pros. If during your session you find that you want to keep the footage of your swing, we also offer V1 Academy Locker. The V1 Academy Locker allows you to create your own personal account for V1 and gain access to footage of your swings on your personal computer or smart phone. These programs are included in your indoor range day pass free of charge.

SAM PuttLab Analysis

SAM PuttLab offers the world’s most accurate and comprehensive putting analysis. The system relies on ultrasound sensory analysis to learn every aspect of your putting stroke from face rotation to vertical launch and even swing timing. One of our SAM PuttLab certified instructors will work with you individually for 30 minutes to gather the 28 most important parameters of your putting stroke. With these parameters in hand they will be able to provide you with your putting weaknesses, and offer you ways to turn those weaknesses into strengths.
